It is well known that the Wheel in the Sky keeps on turning. This means that outside forces are unable to slow or stop the rotation of the Wheel - thus implying the Wheel to have infinite angular momentum.

Infinite angular momentum leaves us with a couple options. Either the Wheel has infinite mass, or is turning infinitely quickly (or both, which is definitely sufficient but not necessary). Consider the scenario where the Wheel has infinite mass: the Wheel would not be a Wheel, but rather a black hole, destroying everything. This is clearly not the case. This means the Wheel must be spinning infinitely quickly.

One of the key elements to a big, smokey burnout is wheel speed. The faster the tire spins against the ground, the more friction there is, and thus more heat, and more smoke.

Ergo, the Wheel in the Sky does sweet burnouts.

That sounds like the babbling of Tommy Lee Jones in Under Siege.

“ Yes, of course! Hence the name: movement. It moves a certain distance, then it stops, you see? A revolution gets its name by always coming back around in your face. You tried to kill me you son of a bitch... so welcome to the revolution.”

You've cracked perpetual motion! Notify all the journals! Now we just have to figure out a) how to tap it and b) if tapping into it will make ot stop turning.

There’s an argument for the wheel being a black hole, destroyer of souls, marriages, bank accounts, and worlds.

Unfortunately, equally valid conclusions are that there are no external forces acting upon T he Wheel, allowing it to continue turning with finite angular momentum and forcing us to conclude that The Wheel is attached to a physicist’s ideal car, or that some unknown force renews The Wheel’s angular momentum, such as a smaller W heel driven in turn by a still smaller W heel driven in turn by a still  smaller W heel ad infinitum, the so-called “The Wheels in the Sky Go All the Way Down” theory.

We are not dealing in ideal frictionless vacuums here; for the observation of the Wheel to keep on turning to be made, there would have to be some sort of observed attempt to slow the rotation. One would not say “the engine keeps running” without first trying to shut it off!

Being that it is “the Wheel” and not “the Wheels” in the Sky, I would have to preclude any possibility of other wheels driving the Wheel. While possible that some other mechanism would be driving the W heel, for it to be an unstoppable rotation would require an impossibly robust system to drive it - maintaining a finite speed with no load and while delivering terawatts of power is no small task (and asks the question what is powering the Wheel driver!). Additional support for this would come from the complete lack of anything else in the Sky which continues unimpeded other than the Wheel.

It doesn't need to have infinite momentum or mass- if there are no outside forces, as in space, ie, "in the sky", it will move perpetually.

Still tiny bit drag in space - ‘ solar wind’ and what not. Also, for the observation of it to “keep on turning” there would have to be something happening which one would have expected to cause it to stop turning. One wouldn’t point out “the engine keeps running!” if nothing has happened which might cause it to stop, whether it be intentional (turning the key off) or incidental (ran out of gas).
